JRE

This one-day course provides students with foundational routing knowledge and configuration examples, and includes an overview of general routing concepts, routing policy, and firewall filters with Juniper Networks routing and switching technologies.
Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos OS and monitoring basic device operations. This course to all routing and switching Juniper Networks platforms running the Junos OS.

JNDF

This three-day course is designed to cover best practices, theory, and design principles for overall network design and will serve as the prerequisite course for other design subject areas — data center, security, and WAN.

JND-DC

This five-day course is designed to cover best practices, theory, and design principles for data center design including data center architectures, data center interconnects, security considerations, virtualization, and data center operations. This course will serve as the prerequisite course for other data center design related courses.

JNCIS-SEC Bundle

The JNCIS-SEC Certification Bundle is a 4-day event that covers intermediate aspects of Junos Security, including security zones, security policies, intrusion detection and prevention (IDP), Network Address Translation (NAT), and high availability clusters, as well as implementing Unified Threat Manager (detailed coverage of Web Filtering, antivirus (AV), antispam, and content filtering) running on Juniper Networks platforms.
Key topics include user interface options with a heavy focus on the command-line interface, configuration tasks typically associated with the initial setup devices, interface configuration basics, secondary system configuration, and the basics of operational monitoring and maintenance of devices running JUNOS Software. Students will also learn routing principles and concepts, configuring policies and firewall filters, and class of service (CoS).
Titles in the curriculum include:

  • JSEC
  • JUTM

Note: This course prepares students for the JNCIS-SEC Certification exam, whose topics are based on the content of this curriculum.

JNCIP-SP Bundle Part One

The JNCIP-SP Certification curriculum includes 8 days of training that covers technology aspects that meet the Junos Professional Certification tier for the Service Provider. Students attending this event series will take part in 2 courses (after meeting prerequisites) as part of the certification, including Routing and Switching technology and protocols running Junos Software.
